Features & Applications

The XTENDEX™ Rackmount KVM Local Extender consists of ten ST-C5KVM-L-600 local units grouped together in a 1 HE/U rack. Connect up to ten ST-C5KVM-R-600 remote units up to 183 meters with CAT5 cable.
  • Supports twenty users: ten local and ten remote.
  • Provides local KVM access.
  • Allows local and remote access to network servers.
  • Built-in surge protection.
  • Keep-alive keyboard/mouse emulation for flawless operation.
  • Use in-house CAT5 wiring to locate a keyboard, monitor and mouse remotely.

  • Power for each local unit is provided by its corresponding host computer or switch.

Video Quality Adjustment

  • Automatically adjusts the video quality to compensate for varying lengths of CAT5 cable.

Remote Unit

  • Crisp and clear 1024x768 resolution at 183 meters; higher resolution supported at shorter distances.
  • Female 15-pin HD connector.
  • Female 6-pin miniDIN connectors.
  • Optional 3.5mm stereo audio connection.
  • Optional male 9-pin D connector for RS232.

Video Quality Adjustment

  • Automatically adjusts the video quality to compensate for varying lengths of CAT5 cable.

Power

  • 110 or 220 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz via AC adapter.
  • NTI High Density cables between user devices and the XTENDEX Rackmount Local Extenders are required for proper operation.
  • NTI High Density cables between the CPUs and the XTENDEX Rackmount Local Extenders are required for proper operation.
  • Cables not included.
